Inside Our Cervical Cancer Awareness Event
On a mission to educate, empower, and save lives, our cervical cancer awareness event was more than just a gathering—it was a movement. Held at Halcyon Hospital, the event brought together healthcare professionals and members of our community, all united by a shared goal: to spread awareness about cervical cancer and the importance of early detection.
An Informative Start
The event kicked off with an insightful talk by Clinician Evah Nyaga, who shared her knowledge on cervical cancer prevention and reproductive health. Her presentation provided valuable information on the importance of regular screenings, early warning signs, and practical lifestyle tips that can help reduce the risk of cervical cancer. Attendees appreciated her approachable and informative style, feeling motivated and more equipped to make informed health decisions.
Access to Vital Health Services
In addition to the talk, participants were able to access free one-on-one consultations with gynecologists, ensuring they received personalized health advice. Subsidized screening tests, including Pap smears and HPV screening, were also available, allowing attendees to take proactive steps toward early detection. Pharmacy and laboratory services were offered as well, providing comprehensive care for everyone.
